Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Ground Systems Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team! In this role you will work as a technical staff member of the Ground Systems (GMN) CIS Product Team to ensure a robust cybersecurity posture in CIS engineering, development, test, and delivery activities.
What You'll Be Doing:- Serve as the Cybersecurity Lead providing guidance to CIS Program Management, Prime Contractor Management, and GMD Cybersecurity leadership to ensure a robust cybersecurity posture for CIS systems.
- Develop security requirements that drive down risk, strengthen cyber resiliency and survivability, while maintaining operational capability.
- Analyze CIS proposals against cybersecurity requirements.
- Ensure that CIS cybersecurity artifacts are developed, reviewed, and updated as needed.
- Conduct reviews of cybersecurity artifacts, technical briefings, and contract documentation, and develop plans of actions and milestones (POAM) to coordinate resolution of findings.
- Track CIS Prime Contractor deliverables and provide recommendations to CIS leadership on acceptance or comments.
- Provide cybersecurity technical leadership in the development of the CIS System Security Plan (SSP), Interim Authority to Test (IATT), Authority to Connect (ATC), and Authority to Operate (ATO) packages.
- Implement the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, perform risk assessments, and ensure proper documentation of CIS systems.
- Evaluate newly identified threats and vulnerabilities to CIS systems to ascertain the need for additional safeguards and develop timely implementation strategies to reduce risk.
- Enforce the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures.
- Assess proposed changes to CIS systems, their operational environment, and mission needs for impacts to cybersecurity architectures and continued compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
- Assist the CIS Product Manager and CIS Chief Engineer in preparation, conduct, and after-action responsibilities for program management reviews, system requirements reviews, design reviews, project status reviews, test and acceptance events, fielding readiness reviews, concept of operations reviews, and operational readiness reviews.
- Develop and present technical reports and briefings including support to the Engineering Review Boards (ERB), other Stakeholder coordination, and Operational Capacity List (OCL) approval process.
- Travel as required (estimated 20%).
What Required Skills You'll Bring:- Master's degree in engineering or related STEM discipline is required.
- Minimum of 12 years direct experience in cybersecurity of information technology with a focus on cybersecurity implementation and testing is required.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP or (CISSP-ISSEP/CISSP-ISSAP) is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required.
- Active security clearance (SECRET or above) is required.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:- Direct experience in digital engineering/DevSecOps development projects is desired.
Security Clearance Requirement:An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $134,100.00 - $241,400.00
