Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Ground Systems CONUS Interceptor Site (CIS) Engineering Analyst to join our team! In this role you work as a key staff member of the Ground Systems (GMN) CIS team to assist the CIS Product Manager and CIS Chief Engineer to avoid or minimize technical risk of the CIS development lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Assist the CIS Product Manager and CIS Chief Engineer by conducting technical analyses of CIS acquisition plans, statements of work, contract deliverable requirements, designs, drawings, models & simulations (M&S), documentation, and test plans and results to ensure compliance with performance requirements.
  • Translate high-level performance requirements (such as Concept of Operations [CONOPS]) into specific, testable technical requirements.
  • Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools (e.g., Cameo, SysML) to trace architecture to verification testing.
  • Assist in validating simulation models against actual physical and flight test data to ensure the simulator tracks actual CIS site and missile fly-out parameters. Generate formal analytical summaries and reports to document M&S results for the government/military stakeholders.
  • Participate in trade studies and technical trade-offs regarding CIS systems, and identify potential system vulnerabilities, such as failure points or electronic countermeasures.
  • Evaluate system of systems interoperability and report findings and recommendations to the CIS Chief Engineer.
  • Support CIS project leadership in preparing and conducting milestone reviews and providing inputs to consolidated technical, schedule, and financial executive dashboards.
  • Prepare decision briefings, white papers, and answers to taskers and requests for information.


What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 20 years experience, or Master's degree with a minimum of 12 years experience in technical analysis in a missile defense program is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required.
  • Active security clearance (SECRET or above) is required.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • MDA experience desired.

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.

Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
