Position Summary:

The Grocery Regional Manager will accelerate Royal Oak's growth across this region. This person will function as more than a pure sales leader. This person will be highly analytical and develop strategic business partnering, promotional planning and forecasting, while also driving performance, efficiency, tracking of trade spend and merchandising goals. This individual will establish a growth platform, identify opportunities, set, and communicate priorities, and coordinate resources to maximize revenue volume and profitability. This individual will execute effective and profitable business plans. They will utilize a strong regional and national broker network to assist with headquarter and retail selling. The Grocery Regional Manager will have a passion for the company's culture and values and utilize a zealous sales approach to increase profitability and grow the business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Aggressively pursue revenue maximizing opportunities and new distribution throughout this region.
  • Cultivate and create new business by maintaining top-to-top relationships at strategic accounts.
  • Understand and support established sales policies and procedures to ensure proper and effective treatment of our customers.
  • Implement sales, merchandising and distribution programs directly with assigned customers.
  • Accountable for customer/channel performance vs. plan (revenue & margin), full customer/channel ownership.
  • Serve as a voice of the consumer brand on review content, customer service conversations, and survey feedback.
  • Regularly meet with assigned customers to manage and execute sales, merchandising, and distribution objectives.
  • Analyze business opportunities and sales plans for the accounts and develop key execution plans to increase sales.
  • Communicate market intelligence including competitor activity and market trends to develop strategies against growth opportunities.
  • Apply knowledge of company products and services with customers to provide quality customer service.


Position Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Ability to develop and optimize portfolio assortments, pricing and marketing, and trade plans.
  • Strategic thinker with an ability to execute objectives, performance metrics, deadlines and milestones, translating strategy into action plans.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to convert raw data into actionable business insight.
  • Ability to function as a brand ambassador for Royal Oak, possessing a passion for the company's product portfolio, vision, mission, and values.
  • Strong sense of urgency to achieve the highest possible quality while improving personal standards and performance.
  • Strong presence evoking intelligence, confidence, respect and is humble, well-spoken, and understanding.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adjust style to effectively interact with external customers and an internal team.
  • Four-year undergraduate degree.
