Government Relations Support Specialist

Position Overview

Provide government affairs and Congressional engagement support for the Golden Dome for America (GDA) program, coordinating across Legislative Affairs, Appropriations, Public Affairs, Service, 4th Estate, and CCMD stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support planning, coordination, execution, and tracking of White House and Congressional engagements, including Posture Review Season, NDAA and Appropriations hearings, Committee hearings, and Nomination hearings, as applicable.
  • Develop and maintain Congressional and White House engagement schedules, ensuring critical timelines, requests, and deliverables are tracked and met.
  • Support execution and ongoing tracking of the GDA Government Affairs Strategy and recurring stakeholder engagements.
  • Develop repeatable stakeholder coordination processes and workflows for Congressional requests, taskings, and internal responsibilities.
  • Establish and maintain a knowledge management repository for key documents, Hill meeting readouts, upcoming events, briefings, RFIs, and other engagement materials.
  • Support GDA leadership hearing preparation, coordinating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure testimony and briefing materials are accurate, complete, and quality-controlled.
  • Develop processes for rapid "Late Night" responses to programmatic and factual requests supporting Congressional hearings, particularly during Presidential Budget posture season.
  • Track and coordinate responses to Congressional Questions for the Record (QFRs), RFIs, and other Congressional inputs.
  • Maintain a repository of prior Congressional briefings and RFI responses.
  • Curate a daily collection of Congressional news and media relevant to GDA priorities.

Required Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • 15+ years experience in government affairs, legislative affairs, Congressional relations, public affairs, or related government support.
  • Master's degree in Internation Relations
  • Strong organizational, coordination, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and time-sensitive requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, executive-level products.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to short-notice requirements.

Pay Range

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $160,030 - $185,020. This range is a good-faith estimate and not a guarantee of compensation. Final compensation will be based on factors including experience, education, skills, geographic location, internal equity, market data, and applicable contract requirements, and may fall outside the posted range.
