Job Summary

The Government Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth and maintaining strong relationships with government customers for McKesson Medical-Surgical Government Solutions LLC. This role primarily involves remote sales activities, including prospecting, quoting, and managing customer accounts within the government sector.

Job Responsibilities

* Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within government agencies and organizations.
* Manage and grow an assigned territory of existing government accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
* Conduct outbound calls, emails, and virtual presentations to prospective and existing government clients to understand their needs and present relevant solutions.
* Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, proposals, and contracts in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including product specialists, customer service, and contract administration, to meet customer requirements.
* Maintain a thorough understanding of McKesson Medical-Surgical Government Solutions' product portfolio, services, and government contracting vehicles (e.g., GSA schedules).
* Utilize CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and forecast sales.
* Participate in product training and sales meetings to stay informed of industry trends and company offerings.
* Resolve customer inquiries and issues efficiently and professionally.
* Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas and performance metrics.

Job Qualifications

* Demonstrated understanding of government procurement processes and contracting mechanisms (e.g., GSA, VA).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
* Results-oriented with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment.
* Knowledge of medical-surgical products and supplies is a plus.

Our Total Target Cash (TTC) Pay Range for this position:

32.09 - 53.49
