Job Description:

The MSNA Governance & Controls (G&C) and Sustainability Integration Manager acts as a critical liaison between global integration programs and regional execution. This role supports the North America Controllership team by leading the local integration of internal controls (SOX/ICE) and sustainability reporting frameworks. The manager partners with the Global Snacking controls team, regional finance, and other stakeholders to ensure a harmonized and effective control environment and seamless adoption of Mars' sustainability reporting standards.

This role is a project-based role and has a current expected end date in Q2 2028. As we move closer to Q2 2028, we will work with you to explore other opportunities for employment within the Mars family of companies. If a suitable alternative role is not available at that time, your employment will end.

What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, Master's degree preferred
  • CPA or other professional certification preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in audit, internal controls, or a corporate accounting environment required
  • Strong knowledge of SOX/Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICE)
  • Experience in the Consumer Product Goods (CPG) industry required
  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks is a plus.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across different levels of an organization.

What will be your key responsibilities?

SOX/ICE Harmonization & Integration:

Act as the regional lead for integrating Kellanova into the Mars internal control framework, working closely with global and regional teams. Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting SOX/ICE gap analysis and control rationalization efforts.
  • Planning the regional approach for ICE controls testing and documentation.
  • Driving the closure of critical controls gaps within the region identified as part of the above exercises.


Control Transition & Operating Model Support:

Oversee the transition of control responsibilities resulting from operating model changes and associate role shifts within the MSNA ecosystem. Ensure all control handoffs are tracked, monitored, and executed securely to maintain control integrity during periods of change.

Sustainability Reporting Integration:

Lead the regional integration of sustainability reporting, ensuring North America meets Global and Mars Inc. requirements. This includes:
  • Partnering with Global teams to integrate Kellanova into Mars' mandatory sustainability reporting frameworks.
  • Acting as the key liaison for the region, providing necessary financial data and process support to ensure reporting readiness.


Regional Controllership Support:

Serve as a key local partner for the Controllership team, assisting with the integration of various finance activities and ensuring alignment with global standards and timelines.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 101,120.00 - USD 139,040.00
