Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to join a backend engineering team focused on cloud IAM and compliance capabilities for large-scale data platforms. The role will involve developing serverless capabilities using AWS Lambda, building data pipelines with AWS Step Functions and Lambda, and supporting systems that process millions of compliance findings generated through monitoring each day. The primary development language is Go, with a focus on functional programming and cloud-native engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain backend solutions using Go as the primary programming language.
• Build and enhance serverless capabilities using AWS Lambda.
• Design and implement data pipelines using AWS Step Functions and Lambda.
• Develop solutions supporting cloud IAM and compliance capabilities across AWS environments.
• Work with AWS CloudFormation to define and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker.
• Work with PostgreSQL and Snowflake as part of the data platform.
• Support large-scale data processing systems handling millions of findings generated through monitoring each day.
• Collaborate with engineering team members to expand data pipelines and platform capabilities.
• Apply functional programming concepts and cloud-native development practices.
Required Qualifications
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience developing applications using Go (Golang).
• Experience with AWS cloud services, particularly AWS Lambda and AWS Step Functions.
• Strong experience building data pipelines using Step Functions and Lambda.
• Experience with serverless application development.
• Experience with AWS IAM or cloud identity and access management.
• Experience with AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application development.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL.
• Ability to work effectively with large-scale data platforms and high-volume data processing environments.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in financial services environments.
• Previous experience with Financial client is preferred.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Experience supporting cloud compliance platforms or capabilities.
• Experience working with large-scale monitoring and compliance findings.
Certifications
• AWS Solutions Architect certification.
• AWS Developer certification.
