Job Summary:
The GoAnywhere MFT Developer will be responsible for analyzing legacy Microsoft Systems Center Orchestrator (SCORCH) runbooks and refactoring them into clean, modern GoAnywhere MFT workflows and job definitions. The role will design and implement file movement orchestration patterns, develop error-handling strategies, and work with SFTP, SSH, PGP encryption, Windows SMB shares, and Active Directory/IWA authentication. The ideal candidate will have strong GoAnywhere MFT development experience, working knowledge of PowerShell scripting, SCORCH architecture, and enterprise automation patterns, along with the ability to independently support complex migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
• Analyze legacy Microsoft Systems Center Orchestrator runbooks and translate them into GoAnywhere MFT workflows and job definitions.
• Design, develop, implement, and document file movement orchestration solutions.
• Develop appropriate error-handling strategies and automation patterns for managed file transfer workflows.
• Analyze, design, and implement business solutions, major upgrades, and enhancements to existing solutions.
• Develop and document functional, technical, and business requirements for projects of varying complexity.
• Create business and technical documentation to support development teams and end users.
• Gather and analyze user requirements and business processes and translate them into technical requirements and solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, project managers, analysts, and other technical teams to develop use cases and solution designs.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and incorporate feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support requirements and solution review sessions related to data platform and automation implementations.
• Contribute to project plans in accordance with established PMO standards and procedures.
• Communicate project milestones and delivery timelines based on capacity and prioritization.
• Ensure timely delivery of solutions that meet defined requirements and expectations.
• Assist with complex data analysis and translate business needs into data solutions when required.
• Support data training and help end users understand relevant data platform and BI components.
• Cross-train peers on relevant subject matter and technical areas.
• Present requirements analysis and solution recommendations to management, technical, analytical, and business stakeholders.
• Apply process analysis, requirements analysis, change management, and risk assessment practices throughout solution delivery.

Required Qualifications
• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience analyzing, designing, and developing GoAnywhere MFT jobs or similar enterprise automation solutions.
• Strong proficiency in GoAnywhere MFT development and workflow design.
• Experience analyzing and modernizing legacy automation workflows and processes.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Systems Center Orchestrator (SCORCH) and its runbook architecture.
• Experience working in a Windows Server Active Directory environment.
• Experience with SFTP, SSH, PGP, SMB, IWA, and similar file transfer and authentication technologies.
• Ability to perform process and requirements analysis, change management, and risk assessments.
• Ability to work independently on complex migration and automation initiatives.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
• Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting and enterprise automation patterns.
• Basic knowledge of SQL Server on Windows and/or Azure SQL Database.
• Experience with regex and text processing.
• Experience producing accurate system and process documentation.
• Experience with data analysis and data platform implementations.
