Job Objective:
Supports academic initiatives that enhance the educational mission of Graduate Medical Education (GME) projects at Eisenhower Health. Collaborates closely with the Vice President of Academic Affairs, GME Leadership, and Program Directors to implement and develop initiatives that support academic excellence. Oversees scholarly activity, academic projects, and the annual GME Research Day.

Required: Three (3) years of experience in a higher education academic or healthcare setting working with students/residents/fellows
Preferred: Experience in medical education or residency program; experience with Residency Database Management

Essential Responsibilities

1. Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
2. Oversees and facilitates all academic initiatives for scholarly activity, faculty development, and community medicine programs.
3. Manages the planning, organizing and execution of the annual GME Research Day.
4. Coordinates faculty development programming, workshops, and Morbidity and Mortality (M&M) educational sessions.
5. Monitors and tracks institutional academic GME data and reporting metrics; identifies opportunities to improve GME processes.
6. Prepares summaries and formal reports related to academic and scholarly initiatives for presentation to senior leadership.
7. Tracks AMA course completion, ensures compliance, and follows up with trainees within GME.
8. Supports coordination of institutional academic projects and cross departmental initiatives.
9. Provides operational support to GMEC subcommittees, including scheduling and action item tracking.
10. Maintains and updates annual faculty CVs for all GME teaching faculty.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
