Summary:
The Global Technology & IT Security Manager leads a small, skilled team providing exceptional service and support to staff across all technology services, including but not limited to infrastructure management, user support, ERP/application development, business intelligence and IT Security. This is a hands-on, high visibility position that has a unique opportunity to impact the business.
They directly manage IT staff in both US and EU locations and carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversees the design, development, security, and maintenance of all global IT systems, software, and support services.
- Collaborates with leadership to develop and execute short and long-term IT business plans aligned with the organizations strategic and fiscal goals; owns and maintains the global IT budget.
- Proactively engages the business to understand how technology can be leveraged to enhance/resolve business issues.
- Maintains all IT and Cybersecurity policies and frameworks to ensure compliance with best industry practices and regulatory requirements; owns the vulnerability management program.
- Looks to continually improve and refine the global IT service catalog.
- Maintains the Incident Response and Disaster Recovery plans/procedures to ensure data protection and continuity of business operations.
- Provides updates to senior leadership regarding Information Technology/Cybersecurity framework adherence, regulatory compliance and other related activities.
- Owns the IT Change Management process, ensuring smooth transitions during technology changes, system integrations, and process improvements.
- Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies, Cybersecurity threats, compliance requirements and their applicability to AFSI.
- Manages all Technology and IT Security vendor relationships, systems licensing and maintenance contacts for hardware, software, telecommunications, and office peripheral systems.
- Contributes broad technical know-how, industry experience and best practices to the team.
- Fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation and consistency between US and European plants.
- Is accessible by phone and email on an as-needed basis outside of work hours to support the needs of the business.
- Works in a safe manner, following all safety policies and procedures while keeping in mind other's safety as well.
- Reports any accidents and potentially unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to appropriate supervisor.

- Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree (B.S) or equivalent in Information Technology, Business, or related field; 8-10 years of progressive IT experience, including 3-5 years of supervisory experience. Experience implementing and managing frameworks such as ITIL, NIST and CIS. Experience working in multi-country/international application or technology deployments preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos; capable of presenting technical information in a simple and coherent manner to customers, clients, and employees.
Strong budget management and fiscal planning/reporting capabilities.
In addition to the computer skills outlined above under Essential Duties and Responsibilities, broad understanding of virtualization, storage and networking technologies, including next generation firewalls and OT network segmentation. Experience with global ERP systems, support and development preferred.
- Other Skills and Abilities:
Able to handle multiple assignments at once and communicate effectively within all levels of the organization. Can acquire and maintain the requisite travel authorizations to visit the Czech Republic.
