Job Description

Who are we looking for?

We're seeking a Global Talent Management Leader to continue to transform and drive GHD's enterprise talent management strategy and lead our global Talent Management Team. As a member of the Executive People Leadership Team (EPLT), you will help translate our ambitious growth priorities into workforce capability, succession depth, leadership readiness, and internal talent development. Partnering across the People function and business, you will strengthen the use of talent insights, workforce data, and technology-enabled decision support to inform talent decisions, align talent priorities to business needs, and support the delivery of GHD's strategic priorities.

This is a chance to help define the next stage of Talent Management at GHD, building a connected, insight-led approach to how we identify, develop, and strengthen talent globally. Your leadership will help senior leaders make clearer talent choices, focus development investment where it matters most, and build stronger succession, capability, and leadership pipeline plans.

As a strategic global leader, you will set direction for the function, lead the team to embed talent frameworks, and support better, data-led decisions across the business. By connecting key talent practices and insights, the role gives leaders clearer visibility of talent risks, readiness, and investment priorities.

In partnership with business leaders and People colleagues, you will improve the quality and use of workforce and talent information, clarify talent practices in a matrixed environment, build talent from within, and support adoption of consistent talent approaches across the enterprise.
What You'll Do
  • Shape GHD's enterprise talent management strategy, aligning talent priorities with business growth, workforce capability, succession depth, leadership readiness, internal talent development, career pathways, and internal mobility, with clear measures of progress and impact.
  • Contribute as a member of the Executive People Leadership Team (EPLT), partnering with colleagues to shape the direction, priorities, and effectiveness of the broader People function.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the global Talent Management Team, creating the clarity, focus, and environment needed for the team to influence enterprise talent outcomes and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Establish clear talent frameworks, governance, and adoption approaches across workforce planning, succession, performance management, development, mobility, and talent insights to improve decision quality, consistency, and workforce outcomes across regions.
  • Translate business plans into workforce capability and strategic workforce planning priorities, using talent insights to advise leaders on critical roles, skills, succession risks, readiness, development opportunities, and where to build, develop, or source capability.
  • Enable development from within by increasing talent visibility, career pathways, internal mobility, priority experiences, and readiness for areas of strategic need, helping the business build capability and create opportunities for people to grow and develop at GHD.
  • Partner across the People ecosystem to embed talent practices that are clear, consistent, connected to business needs, and improve adoption and decision quality.
What You'll Bring
  • Executive-level experience leading talent management or related People disciplines in a complex, global organization, delivering measurable business impact.
  • Ability to connect business strategy to workforce capability, succession depth, leadership readiness, and talent investment decisions.
  • Strong business acumen, executive influence, stakeholder engagement, and change leadership, with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform decisions and shape enterprise outcomes.
  • Experience applying psychometric assessment insights to talent, leadership, succession, and development decisions.
  • Experience using enterprise talent management technology, preferably Oracle HCM, to support talent insights and decision-making.
  • Professional services or engineering consulting experience is an asset. A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
