What to ExpectAs Global Supply Manager, you'll lead strategic sourcing of critical components and assemblies for Memo, Sunday's first product. You'll partner with the Head of Supply Management in Asia and with US-based leaders across Hardware, Manufacturing, NPI, and Finance to build a resilient, sustainable supply base. You will own the commercial and operational success of Sunday's supply chain as we scale from prototype to production volume.
What You'll Do- Define and own the category strategies for the critical components and assemblies
- Lead RFx processes and negotiate commercial agreements, including piece pricing, tooling/NRE, and key contractual terms
- Manage business risk through assessment of capacity, geopolitics, logistics, and supplier technology and commercial roadmaps. Actively partner with the engineering team to identify/mitigate supply and demand challenges
- Partner with Hardware and Electrical Engineering on component, module, and assembly-level part decision in early design phase to implement the Design for Supply Chain (DfSC) strategy to ensure that the product designs are highly aligned with supplier capabilities, material availability and cost target
- Work closely with Supply Chain in Asia to align on pricing , capacity allocation, and technical issues
- Build the processes, templates, and reports for Sunday's US supply chain function need
- Achieve or exceed cost target through should-cost model, industry and market analysis and well-planned negotiations
What You'll BringMust Haves:
- 5+ years in sourcing or procurement in high volume consumer electronics
- Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Experience leading cross-functional work-streams with engineering, operations, finance, legal and NPI teams to drive alignment and execute sourcing strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally often with short notice
Nice to Haves:
- Existing relationships with or experience working with US-based IC distributors and vendors such as Avnet, Arrow, Digi-Key, Mouser, or direct semiconductor vendor relationships
- Technical fluency in at least one semiconductor category - MCUs, PMICs, camera, motor controllers, IMUs, or connectivity ICs
- Import/export compliance knowledge (ITAR, export controls, dual-use electronics)
- Mandarin proficiency can be a plus
