Global Services Energies & Chemicals Segment Leader

Mission

The Global Services Energies & Chemicals Segment Leader is responsible for defining and driving the global Services growth strategy for the Energies & Chemicals segment. The role focuses on identifying market opportunities, shaping differentiated value propositions, enabling sales execution, and accelerating profitable growth across different customer portfolios.

As a key member of the global segment organization, the successful candidate will act as the subject matter expert for the Energies & Chemicals market, ensuring alignment between segment priorities, customer needs, portfolio evolution, and commercial execution across geographies.

Key Responsibilities

Define Segment Growth Strategy
  • Develop and maintain the global Services growth strategy for the Energies & Chemicals segment.
  • Analyze market trends, customer challenges, industry transformations, and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Define segment priorities, growth initiatives, and investment recommendations aligned with Services ambitions.
  • Establish a clear "where to play" and "how to win" strategy for Services.

Build Segment Value Propositions and Go-to-Market Playbooks
  • Develop compelling segment-specific Services value propositions and differentiated customer messaging.
  • Create sales playbooks covering key customer use cases, modernization journeys, digital services, sustainability, cybersecurity, asset performance, and lifecycle services.
  • Support strategic campaigns and go-to-market initiatives across the segment.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging and positioning across all regions.

Enable Regional and Country Organizations
  • Equip sales and country teams with tools, market intelligence, competitive insights, customer references, and best practices.
  • Deliver training and coaching to improve market penetration and opportunity conversion.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing across geographies to accelerate adoption of proven business models.
  • Promote standardized methodologies, repeatable growth programs, and practical execution playbooks.

Industrialize and Replicate Success
  • Identify successful commercial models, service offers, and customer engagement practices.
  • Replicate and scale best practices across geographies.
  • Build a community of practice within the Energies & Chemicals ecosystem.
  • Influence service portfolio evolution based on customer needs, market feedback, and competitive insights.

Own Segment Business Performance
  • Monitor Services revenue, pipeline, bookings, strategic opportunities, and growth metrics.
  • Lead regular business reviews and identify risks, gaps, and corrective actions.
  • Provide executive-level insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for segment growth, pipeline health, strategic account engagement, and execution excellence.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 188,000 - USD 282,000 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
