CB F&BM Business Manager Vice President

Description

The Commercial & Investment Banking Finance & Business Management (F&BM) team is looking for a strategic, analytical and energetic professional to support the Client Onboarding and Servicing (COS) organization. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity on our F&BM team supporting the Global Client Experience and Controls teams, ensuring senior management has visibility into major initiatives, business metrics, financials and data insights to achieve their strategic objectives. This role will partner closely with senior business leaders and key partners across CIB Finance, Business Management, Banking, and Data & Analytics teams to enable effective end-to-end execution.

Responsibilities

 

 

Business Management:

  • Partner with COS and CIB F&BM to prepare executive presentations – ability to package and present business strategy, performance projections and trends bringing financials and data together to tell cohesive story

  • Design monthly and quarterly business management and financial reporting packages to communicate business results in a transparent and concise manner to all constituents

  • Coordinate deliverables with business managers, finance, project managers and other F&BM teams 

  • Analyze large amounts of data to create impactful analysis to assist in developing COS strategy
  • Ability to take analysis and create executive level presentation using PitchPro+

 

Financials/Data Analytics:

  • Partner with COS and CIB F&BM team to budget and forecast headcount and direct expenses
  • Assist with build out and enhancement of capacity models across COS functions and activities

  • Participate in the activity based costing process used to allocate expenses across LOB’s and downstream client profitability system

  • Partner with Finance to build and support forecasting models

 

Leadership and interpersonal skills:

  • Strong professional presence with the ability to communicate directly with senior stakeholders
  • Must be able to interact and influence colleagues at all levels in the business
  • Able to collaborate with peer team members across business and staff areas at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over all resources 
  • Experience and knowledge of client onboarding and servicing for Global Commercial and Investment Banking clients
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area with MBA or Masters preferred
  • 8-10+ years of relevant experience in Business Management, Operations, or Consulting 
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to tell the story on initiatives 
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills
  • Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence
  • Ability to work collaboratively; develop strong partnership with multiple levels of employees
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail with logical thought process
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and produce successful results in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to interpret and present complex data
