Full Job Description
This role requires outstanding forward-thinking, analytical thinking, and creativity to apply optimization methodologies that drive efficient loading, capital efficiency, and sweet-spot studies. The successful candidate will use structured data analysis to assess market conditions. They will develop efficient loading strategies and provide data-driven recommendations to support executive decisions and business success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of prioritisation, business processes, and capital optimization. They will be able to find opportunities through scenario analysis, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role embraces AI-enabled ways of working through the use of AI-powered analytics, intelligent automation, and decision-support tools to accelerate insights, improve forecast accuracy, streamline planning processes, reduce manual effort, and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize capacity loading plans using industrial engineering and optimization methodologies to achieve business targets, market share objectives, and technode ramp requirements.
  • Perform capacity, scenario, and conversion cost evaluations to assess business alternatives, support technology planning, and offer analytical insights to leadership.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional partners and central planning teams to assess future capacity requirements, capital needs, and impacts to business plans.
  • Analyze and communicate the operational and financial impacts of tooling purchases, technology transitions, capital expenditures, and other business planning decisions.
  • Manage planning databases, scenario ownership, change control processes, and SharePoint resources to ensure data integrity and planning accuracy.
  • Monitor capital spending performance, forecast accuracy, cash flow impacts, and technode capital expenditures while identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, automated workflows, and analytics solutions that improve planning efficiency, transparency, and decision-making.
  • Lead complex projects and ensure compliance with business planning timelines, collaborator commitments, and governance requirements while driving continuous process improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable technical area.
  • Experience in forecasting resource needs, long-term planning, process engineering, production operations, or a related analytical function.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills combined with the capacity to transform complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, and other data analysis or reporting tools.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills accompanied by the capability to work effectively across functions and independently manage priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in semiconductor production forecasting, industrial engineering, planning for future growth, or within a comparable semiconductor manufacturing setting.
  • Experience using AI-enabled analytics and productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power BI AI capabilities, and Python-based analytics solutions.
  • Knowledge of capital planning, capital asset management, Cost of Transition (CoT) analysis, and technology node planning processes.
  • Experience developing automated reporting, forecasting, dashboards, and data visualization solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Experience applying statistics, optimization techniques, scenario modeling, and advanced analytics to improve planning accuracy, resource allocation efficiency, and operational performance.
