You will operate at the intersection of regulatory intelligence, data engineering, and cross-functional governance—ensuring compliance with evolving environmental regulations while enabling business continuity across global product portfolios.

Responsibilities

1. Global PFAS Program Monitoring & Regulatory Response

  • Develop and manage compliance strategies for major programs, including EPA PFAS reporting

  • Lead compliance efforts for state-level mandates (e.g., Minnesota and New Mexico labeling and reporting requirements)

  • Be able to identify PFAS purpose or functionality based on type of PFAS present by product type.

2. Large-Scale Compliance Data Engineering

  • Manage and reconcile multi-million row datasets across disparate compliance systems

  • Perform advanced data manipulation, extraction, and transformation across legacy databases

  • Execute complex material roll-up calculations linking product data to chemical composition

  • Develop automation scripts and analytical tools using VBA and Python to improve efficiency.

3. Global Compliance Framework Oversight

  • Lead China RoHS compliance strategy, including preparation for 2027 catalog expansion (33 categories)

  • Coordinate with regional compliance leaders (Asia-Pacific, China) to interpret regulatory updates

  • Serve as SME for the CMAP compliance platform, including auditing supplier data submissions

  • Identify and resolve inconsistencies in supplier declarations and legacy data inputs.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance

  • Partner with Business Units, engineering teams, and regulatory specialists to drive compliance

  • Provide executive-ready compliance insights and reporting metrics

  • Support establishment of governance processes for regulatory submissions and approvals

  • Audit supplier compliance data and ensure alignment with global regulatory standards.

5. Program management skills:

  • Lead the program and establish project timelines, milestones, risks, and mitigation actions

  • Drive supplier engagement initiatives to collect PFAS compliance documentation where required

  • Assess Business impacts on products, manufacturing processes and supply chains

  • Identify opportunities for PFAS elimination, substitution and eventually product redesign strategies

  • Develop internal guidance, job aids, and compliance workflow for PFAS management

  • Support customer escalations and compliance responses related to PFAS enquiries

  • Read out to leadership on a regular basis to provide updates on overall PFAS program, regulatory risks, and mitigation strategies
