Your Opportunity

BDO Canada is seeking a Global Delivery & Offshore leader to mature, and scale BDO's global delivery capability across India, Mauritius, LATAM, and future delivery centres.

This role will establish a unified operating model that enables service lines to leverage global talent effectively while delivering enterprise-grade services to clients. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, utilization, profitability, workforce planning, and continuous innovation across the offshore ecosystem.

As BDO continues to move up-market, enterprise clients increasingly expect global delivery models, 24x7 support, follow-the-sun operations, AI-enabled delivery, and optimized delivery economics. This leader will build the capabilities required to meet those expectations while creating a competitive advantage for BDO.

BDO has established multiple offshore delivery centres that have grown independently over time. As demand for enterprise-scale managed services and consulting delivery increases, BDO requires a unified global delivery strategy that:
  • Standardizes operating models across delivery centres
  • Creates consistent client and employee experiences
  • Enables proactive workforce planning across Advisory

  • Supports enterprise clients with global, 24x7 delivery capabilities

This role will partner closely with Advisory leadership, Managed Services, Operations, HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Technology to build a world-class global delivery organization.

Key Responsibilities

Global Delivery Strategy
  • Develop and execute BDO Canada's global delivery strategy aligned with Advisory growth objectives.
  • Define the future-state operating model across India, Mauritius, LATAM, and future delivery centres.
  • Establish consistent governance, policies, processes, and service standards across all locations.
  • Develop a multi-year roadmap for expanding global delivery capabilities.


Operating Model & Governance
  • Standardize delivery methodologies, onboarding processes, quality standards, KPIs, and governance across delivery centres.
  • Establish executive governance forums with business leaders and delivery centre leadership.
  • Define capacity planning, workforce management, escalation, and performance management processes.
  • Develop standardized reporting for utilization, productivity, quality, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.


Service Line Partnership
  • Partner with Advisory service line leaders to proactively understand future talent and delivery requirements.
  • Build scalable offshore workforce plans aligned to business growth.
  • Identify opportunities to offshore new capabilities and functions across Advisory.
  • Act as the strategic advisor to practice leaders on global delivery models.


Global Delivery Model
  • Design and implement repeatable global delivery models that combine:
    • Onshore consulting
    • Offshore delivery
    • Nearshore delivery
    • AI-enabled automation
    • Managed services
  • Develop "follow-the-sun" operating models supporting enterprise customers.
  • Establish best practices for transitioning work between global teams.
  • Improve collaboration between onshore and offshore resources.


Delivery Excellence & Productivity
  • Drive continuous improvement across offshore delivery.
  • Improve delivery efficiency, quality, and predictability.
  • Establish productivity benchmarks across service lines.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at achieving near 1:1 productivity compared to onshore delivery where appropriate.
  • Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks impacting delivery.


Financial Performance
  • Own overall utilization and profitability of the offshore program.
  • Optimize resource mix across locations.
  • Improve offshore leverage ratios.
  • Monitor financial performance against targets.
  • Develop business cases for expansion into new delivery centres.


Innovation & Value Creation
  • Create structured innovation programs for non-billable capacity.
  • Develop industry accelerators, reusable assets, AI capabilities, and intellectual property.
  • Partner with service lines to develop delivery automation.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and cross-centre collaboration.


Talent Strategy
  • Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition on workforce planning.
  • Develop career paths for offshore professionals.
  • Improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Establish leadership development programs across delivery centres.
  • Build a high-performance culture with consistent expectations globally.


Technology & AI Enablement
  • Champion AI-enabled delivery across the offshore ecosystem.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, copilots, knowledge management, and intelligent service delivery.
  • Standardize delivery tooling across centres.
  • Improve operational visibility through dashboards and analytics.


Client Experience
  • Ensure offshore delivery consistently meets enterprise client expectations.
  • Improve delivery quality, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support major pursuits by designing scalable global delivery solutions.
  • Participate in executive client discussions regarding global delivery strategies.


Continuous Improvement
  • Establish a culture focused on Lean, continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence.

  • Proven experience building, scaling, or transforming offshore or global delivery organizations within consulting, professional services, IT services, or managed services.
  • Experience leading multi-country delivery centres.
  • Strong understanding of global delivery operating models.
  • Demonstrated success improving utilization, profitability, and delivery performance.
  • Experience implementing governance frameworks and operational standards.
  • Strong workforce planning and resource management experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise clients with global delivery models.
  • Understanding of AI, automation, and modern service delivery capabilities.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience collaborating across business units and influencing senior leaders without direct authority.
