This position will join the Global IP Network (GIN) team at NTT. NTT's Global IP Network is one of the world's largest Tier 1 global IP backbones, spanning the Americas, Europe, Asia and Oceania on a single autonomous system number AS2914. As a top wholesale IP provider globally, our network has received many international recognitions, including Best Global Wholesale Carrier, Best North American Wholesale Carrier and Wholesale Operator of the Year, among others.

The Global Client Manager (GCM) drives profitable revenue growth across an assigned portfolio of Global IP Network customers and targeted new-logo accounts. The role has a primary focus on Global IP Transit and develops opportunities across the broader GIN portfolio, including IPv4 Address Leasing, Ethernet Services, and DDoS Protection Services. The GCM owns the commercial relationship from opportunity identification through contract execution and account growth, working with customers and internal teams to align solutions to business and technical requirements. Success requires disciplined sales execution, sound commercial judgment, technical credibility, strong stakeholder management, and effective pipeline and forecasting practices.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
  • Achieve or exceed assigned revenue and NIMRR targets through growth of existing accounts and acquisition of new customers.
  • Develop and execute account and opportunity strategies across the GIN portfolio, identifying expansion and cross-sell opportunities aligned to customer needs.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with commercial, technical, operational, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including discovery, solution alignment, proposal development, negotiation, contract execution, and handoff to delivery teams.
  • Maintain a qualified pipeline, accurate opportunity data, and reliable forecasts in Salesforce or the designated CRM platform.
  • Coordinate with Sales Engineering, Customer Solutions, Product Management, Operations, Finance, Legal, Order Management, and other teams to support successful customer outcomes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the GIN portfolio, competitive environment, relevant Internet infrastructure trends, and customer business models.


Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant professional experience will be considered.
  • Good understanding of the global Internet infrastructure market, with working knowledge of IP Transit, Ethernet transport, IPv4 addressing, DDoS protection, BGP, Internet routing concepts, and Autonomous System Numbers (ASNs).
  • Ability to use commonly available ASN and routing lookup tools and translate technical capabilities into clear customer value.
  • Strong commercial awareness, customer orientation, adaptability, and ability to rapidly develop knowledge of evolving technologies, markets, and competitors.


Work Experience Required
  • 5+ years of successful B2B technology or telecommunications sales experience preferred.
  • Experience selling network, Internet infrastructure, telecommunications, or related services; IP Transit sales experience preferred.
  • Experience selling to Internet-centric organizations such as Internet Service Providers, CDNs, cloud and digital service providers, hosting providers, carriers, or other bandwidth-intensive customers is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success growing existing accounts, developing new business, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing complex technical and commercial sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional solution teams.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com or a comparable CRM platform and standard business productivity tools.

Organizational Relationships
  • Reports to the Director of Sales and works closely with Sales Engineering, Customer Solutions, Product Management, Operations, Finance, Legal, Order Management, and other relevant GIN and NTT DATA teams.
  • Engages with customer stakeholders across commercial, technical, operational, and procurement functions.


Working Requirements
  • Ability to work outside standard local business hours when reasonably required to support global customers, negotiations, customer meetings, or business-critical activities.
  • Approximately 25% travel, with additional travel based on customer and business requirements and subject to applicable local requirements.
  • Perform other duties consistent with the role as reasonably assigned.


NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is 75K-139K. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
