Role Overview
The Global Asset/Commercialization Partner is a senior client leadership role responsible for helping Emerging Biopharma companies successfully navigate the journey from asset development to commercialization and lifecycle growth. Acting as a trusted advisor to executive leadership teams based in the US, the Global Asset Partner builds long-term strategic relationships while mobilizing IQVIA's full portfolio of capabilities to help clients make critical global commercial, evidence, market access, medical, and launch decisions.
This role partners closely with CEOs, Chief Commercial Officers, Heads of Commercial Strategy, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and other senior leaders to shape commercialization strategies, accelerate launch readiness, and identify opportunities for growth across the asset lifecycle. The Global Asset Partner serves as the senior connector between the client and IQVIA, ensuring clients experience IQVIA as one integrated partner from molecule to market.
Leveraging deep commercialization expertise and proximity to key US commercial decision-makers, this individual helps clients navigate the complexities of global launches, organizational readiness, market access, evidence generation, and commercial execution while coordinating IQVIA resources across regions and functions.
Key Responsibilities
Build executive-level relationships with CEOs, founders, Chief Commercial Officers, commercial, market access, medical affairs, and business development leaders across assigned Emerging Biopharma accounts.
Serve as a trusted advisor, bringing commercialization perspective, industry insight, and thought leadership to help clients make critical asset, launch, and growth decisions across markets. Establish IQVIA as a long-term strategic partner capable of supporting clients global aspirations from late-stage development through launch and lifecycle management.
Develop asset-based account strategies that align IQVIA capabilities with client priorities from late-stage development through launch and lifecycle growth by understanding development milestones, competitive dynamics, market opportunities, launch risks, and evidence needs
Advise clients on commercialization strategy, launch readiness, market access, evidence generation, operating model design, and global expansion priorities.
Connect IQVIA Consulting, Analytics, Real World Evidence, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Technology, RDS, and Commercial Execution into integrated molecule-to-market solutions.
Leverage proximity to US commercial decision-makers to drive global business growth, open new business streams, and increase IQVIA's footprint across assigned accounts.
Drive revenue growth across assigned accounts by expanding executive relationships, identifying strategic opportunities, and increasing IQVIA's footprint globally.
Lead account planning activities across global and regional teams, ensuring coordinated engagement strategies and alignment around client priorities.
Represent the voice of the client internally and mobilize the appropriate IQVIA experts, leaders, and delivery teams to support strategic initiatives.
Foster collaboration across regions and functions to ensure consistent client engagement and maximize enterprise opportunities.
Our Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence across most of the following competencies:
15+ years of experience in life sciences (pharmaceutical), global commercialization, and/or management consulting in senior client-facing leadership roles. Preferred recent experience at Emerging Biopharma Companies.
Deep understanding of global drug commercialization, launch excellence, market access, evidence generation, and lifecycle management across the pharmaceutical industry.
Demonstrated success advising Emerging Biopharma companies and supporting products through late-stage development, launch preparation, commercialization, or growth phases.
Proven ability to build trusted relationships with CEOs, founders, C-suite leaders, investors, and senior commercial executives.
Strong consultative selling capabilities with a track record of identifying, shaping, and closing complex multi-service opportunities.
Experience managing both near-term opportunities and multi-year strategic partnerships while consistently delivering growth objectives.
Ability to operate effectively in highly matrixed global organizations and influence without direct authority.
Excellent executive communication, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and storytelling skills.
Experience working across multiple geographies and supporting global brands, assets, or commercialization programs.
The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $168,600.00 - $469,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
