Job Title: GL Accountant
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Compensation: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00

Responsibilities- Perform day-to-day accounting functions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Prepare financial reports and support the preparation of financial statements.
- Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure transactions are recorded accurately.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activities.
- Assist with audits by preparing schedules and providing requested documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support accounting and financial initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase operational efficiency.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant accounting or finance experience.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
- Experience with account reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong professional judgment and commitment to confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications - Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or progress toward certification.
- Experience with ERP or other financial management systems.
- Background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or audit support.
- Experience contributing to process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.
