Titre du poste: Gestionnaire principal, ingénierie de projets

Le poste est à temps plein du lundi au vendredi selon des horaires flexibles à Longueuil et s'effectue exclusivement en présentiel.

  • Fournir une orientation stratégique aux systèmes, projets, et programmes reliés au domaine d'expertise des pièces moteurs
  • Fournir une orientation et une expertise interfonctionnelle
  • Être reconnu comme une personne-ressource possédant une solide expertise dans son domaine.
  • Assurer le soutien d'ingénierie pour les Opérations de P&WC, incluant disposition de non-conformités, évaluation des outillages, la transition de fournisseurs, changement de définition du produit et impact techniques aux moteurs par rapport aux échappés de qualité
  • Les responsabilités s'étendent à plusieurs modèles de moteurs ainsi qu'à des composantes variées


Qu'est-ce qu'il vous faut pour réussir?
  • Baccalauréat avec un minimum de 12 ans d'expérience, incluant idéalement de l'expérience en ingénierie de projets
  • Maîtrise avec un minimum de 10 ans d'expérience, incluant idéalement de l'expérience en ingénierie de projets
  • Connaissances avancées des moteurs de turbines à gaz, notamment avec de l'expérience directe avec des composantes du module de turbine et ou accessoires
  • Le candidat doit posséder de bonnes aptitudes en communication (écrite et orale)
  • Le candidat doit faire preuve de flexibilité et de motivation et avoir une capacité manifeste à travailler efficacement en respectant des échéanciers de projet ambitieux
  • Pouvoir supporter un horaire de travail variable et des voyages d'affaires à l'occasion
  • Être membre en ordre de l'Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec serait aussi considéré comme un atout


Ce poste s'inscrit dans un milieu de travail francophone, néanmoins il nécessite une très bonne connaissance de l'anglais pour lire et comprendre, sur une base quotidienne, de la documentation et des termes techniques qui peuvent émaner d'organisations internationales, ainsi que pour écrire et communiquer en anglais avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collègues internationaux.

Job Title: Senior Manager, Project Engineering

Areas of Expertise: Engineering classification focused on product development, primarily encompassing the Project/Program Management engineering discipline in support of operations.

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Provides strategic direction for systems, projects, and programs in area of expertise related to various engine components
  • Provides cross-functional IPT guidance and expertise
  • Being seen as a leading expert within their field
  • Lead Engineering support for PWC Operations, including resolution of QNs, Casting Layouts evaluation, Supplier Transition / Resourcing actives, Design Jobs and technical engine impact with regards to quality escapes
  • Responsible across multiple engine models and a variety of engine hardware components


What do you need to be successful?
  • Bachelor degree with a minimum of 12 years experience, including ideally project engineering experience.
  • Master degree with a minimum of 10 years experience, including ideally project engineering experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of gas turbine engine as a whole with specific experience related to turbine and or accessories module hardware
  • Candidate must have good communications skills (written and oral)
  • Candidate must be adaptable, self-motivated and have demonstrated abilities in working effectively under aggressive project timelines
  • Could accommodate variable work schedule & occasional travel
  • Being an active member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec would also be considered as an asset


This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
