  • Prepare and review proposals for geotechnical services
  • Ensure quality assurance across all geotechnical deliverables and processes
  • Manage the department's P&L
  • Support marketing efforts by maintaining client relationships
  • Lead the recruitment of geotechnical engineering staff

Responsibilities

  • Major Market Engineering Profit Center Owner for Engineering
  • Commitment to manage/oversee the engineering practice for growth with a strong emphasis on technical work execution and business development
  • Lead and mentor a team of geotechnical engineers and project managers
  • Oversee geotechnical and field services projects
  • Prepare and provide principal review of reports
  • Prepare and provide principal review of proposals for geotechnical engineering services
  • Overall responsible for quality assurance of all geotechnical deliverables and processes
  • Manage departmental P&L
  • Assist senior staff in marketing ECS services by maintaining regular client contact
  • Lead the recruiting efforts for geotechnical engineering professional staff

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university; MSCE with geotechnical emphasis preferred
  • 12+ years of civil/geotechnical engineering experience
  • Professional Engineers license or ability to obtain a local license through reciprocity within three months following date of hire
