TeamHealth has an excellent full-time opportunity for a physician to join our emergency department (ED) team at Centerpoint Health Georgetown in Georgetown, Kentucky. This opportunity is rare since most clinicians have made Centerpoint Health Georgetown home for years and recently either retired, or moved to a slower pace. We ask that you be board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine (EM), family medicine (FM) or internal medicine (IM) in addition to current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Our newly renovated 15-bed ED has a 25,000 annual patient volume averaging 1.9 patients per hour with low-medium acuity. We provide supportive and well-staffed nursing. Centerpoint Health Georgetown is a 75-bed acute care facility with an award-winning history of providing excellence in healthcare. Georgetown has been named as one of the "Best Places To Work in Kentucky" for five out of the last six years. The hospital continues to add new medical services and to grow the number of specialist and primary care physicians. It also features an award-winning ICU, Med/Surg Unit and 24-hour Emergency Services Department. State-of-the-art equipment includes: MRI, Lithotripsy, CT Scanner and Ultrasound.
