Position RequirementsRequirementsRequired Education• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Geophysics, Data Science, Computing Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience• 3-5 years of experience in geology, geological data science, or geophysics, with demonstrated expertise in handling large geological datasets.
Designations & Certifications• GIT, P.Geo or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities• Familiarity with mining software (e.g., Leapfrog, Vulcan).
• Strong foundation in geology, including mineralogy and structural geology.
• Proficiency in GIS (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) for spatial analysis.
• Expertise in data science, including statistical analysis and machine learning.
• Skilled in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, with experience in developing data-driven tools.
• Familiarity with mining and exploration software like Leapfrog or Vulcan.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Working ConditionsFieldwork- Exposure to harsh weather, extreme temperatures, and challenging terrain, which can cause discomfort and physical strain.
