Description

SAIC is seeking GEOINT Operations Engineer to support SAIC's Prime Program, Landmark AOS in Las Cruces, NM. Landmark AOS is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle. All candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities to include:
  • Supports cross-functional collaboration with development contractors, government program offices and customers to optimize GEOINT collection, mission management, and processing operations. Provides expert guidance on systems engineering and acquisition functions to ensure seamless integration across the GEOINT domain.
  • Directs operational oversight of development contractors, insuring software deliveries and integration activities align with government requirements and strategic objectives. Serves as the primary interface between technical teams and stakeholders to maintain program integrity and drive successful implementation.
  • Maintains comprehensive oversight of critical GEOINT mission operations, including technical baselines, enterprise timelines, critical dependencies, risk mitigation strategies, and budget management. Leverages this holistic understanding to drive day-to-day/technical decision-making and resource optimization.
  • Delivers comprehensive support to mission ground station stakeholders through proactive engagement, systematic discrepancy resolution, and advanced anomaly troubleshooting to ensure continuous operational integrity.
  • Proves 24/7 mission-critical support through rotational on-call responsibilities, ensuring continuous operational readiness and rapid response to emerging requirements.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Poly.
  • Familiarity with support of Intelligence Community's (IC) GEOINT systems and capability development.
  • Domain experience in IC and Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Knowledge of GEOINT systems and overall space and ground architecture including mission control and mission processing functions.
  • Knowledge of Agile acquisition strategy, development, and release planning, as well as continuous integration initiatives supporting mission capability releases enabling End -to-End GEOINT missions.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and verbal / written communication skills, able to convey information across multiple customers and corporate audiences.
