We're looking for a General Manager who sees the opportunity in leading a legacy resort-someone who can respect what has made the property successful for decades while helping shape its next chapter. It's a highly visible leadership role with strong owner relationships, a dedicated team, and the backing of East West Hospitality. For the right person, it's a chance to put their stamp on an established Vail property and lead it forward for the next generation of owners and guests!

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Accepting applications until: 10/10/2026 or when filled

What You'll Do Includes:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of The Wren, ensuring a consistently high-quality experience for owners and guests.
  • Serve as the primary management liaison to the Association Board, providing operational guidance, financial reporting, communication, and execution of Board priorities.
  • Build strong owner relationships through proactive communication and responsive management of property initiatives, projects, and issues.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the property team while establishing clear expectations, accountability, service standards, and a positive workplace culture.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and responsible stewardship of Association resources; partner with the Board on capital planning and property improvements.
  • Oversee maintenance, housekeeping, front office, vendors, and property projects while ensuring safety, compliance, unit condition, preventative maintenance, and alignment with East West Hospitality standards.
About You

Legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis, without a specific end date, with 5+ years of progressive hospitality, resort, HOA, or property management experience, including leadership responsibility. The right candidate can build trust and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

We're looking for a caring, people-first leader who is approachable, hands-on, and genuinely invested in employees and relationships. The right person builds credibility quickly, stays calm when priorities compete, and approaches challenges with sound judgment and a solutions-oriented mindset. They're also forward-thinking, able to respect The Wren's history while identifying opportunities to evolve the property, service experience, and physical asset. A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is preferred; CMCA or another community association or hospitality certification is a plus.
