General Manager - The Brown Hotel Louisville

As the General Manager for The Brown Hotel in Louisville, KY, you will lead all aspects of hotel operations, driving performance, guest satisfaction, and team engagement. This iconic hotel is unlike any other in Louisville. You'll oversee all departments, manage budgets, and implement strategies to achieve financial and service goals. Your leadership ensures a well-run property that delivers exceptional guest experiences and a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • You will be the driving force behind our hotel's success, overseeing all aspects of operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
  • Your daily tasks will include managing staff, budgets, and the overall profitability and reputation of the hotel.
  • You will report to the Regional Director or Vice President.
  • A career as a general manager can lead to various executive-level opportunities within the hospitality industry, such as regional director, vice president of operations, or even corporate-level positions.
Education & Experience

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business, and/or related field or combination of Hotel Leadership experience and education.
  • 5 Years of Full Service Hotel General Manager and/or Regional-level Experience, Required.
  • Independent Hotel Experience, Highly Preferred.
  • Food & Beverage Experience, Highly Preferred
  • Revenue and Sales Performance Experience, Preferred.
