Job Description:

Looking for a lifestyle, boutique General Manager with a proven track record operating independent and/or soft braded hotels. He or she is charged with the responsibility for all aspects of operations for their assigned property, providing support, supervision and guidance to their management team and front-line associates. He or she will ensure that financial performance is optimized, that high quality product and service levels are maintained, and that the hotel is operated in compliance with state, federal and local regulations as well as Company and brand standards. The General Manager will establish priorities and lead key operational initiatives such as the sales plan and budget development and execution of physical property improvement projects. They will provide hands on leadership to ensure that revenue is maximized while expenses are effectively controlled. They will serve as the linchpin for communications with guests and clients, associates, ownership, corporate representatives, brand representatives and key vendors. Exempt managers must customarily and regular direct the work of at least 3 full-time associates or their equivalents. Primary duties must consist of administrative, executive, or professional tasks more than 50 percent of the time and job duties must also involve the use of discretion and independent judgement more than 50 percent of the time.
  • The GM will oversee all restaurant, bar, and banquet teams and will be responsible for product quality, COGS control and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Responsible for the overall performance of the properties F&B operations to include but not limited to P&L, Guest Satisfaction, Brand Quality Assurance, Budget, and Labor.
  • Executes the training of all teammates as it relates to brand and company standards to maximize revenues and service culture.
  • Be responsible for maintaining compliance and up to date on new F&B initiatives for the brand and company.
  • Be aware of and in compliance of all local and state laws.
  • Maintain positive relationships with Management company, Property Owners, and Clients/Guests.
  • Support and ensure that all health, safety, and security standards are being maintained.
  • Support guest experience and satisfaction in all operations.
  • Maintain a high-quality product.
  • Ensure that hotel policies and brand standards are followed.

Education & Experience:
  • Minimum 3+ years as an AGM or GM in a lifestyle hotel setting.
  • Candidate must possess the skills and experience to lead a team to consistently deliver exceptional guest service.
  • Have a proven track record of meeting budgets, understanding P&L statements, and cost controls.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Development of leadership and hourly staff
  • Must have weekend availability.
  • Must have Union Experience.

  • Monday to Friday
