Lead the Future of Luxury Living at 700 Broadway

We're seeking a strategic, service-driven General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and overall performance of this exceptional property. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who understands that exceptional communities are built through both operational excellence and genuine connection.

As the leader of 700 Broadway, you'll oversee a dynamic residential operation while guiding a team committed to delivering an elevated resident experience. You'll drive financial performance, strengthen leasing and retention strategies, develop and inspire talent, oversee building operations and vendor partnerships, and ensure the property consistently reflects the high standards of the Related brand.

What You'll Do:

Operations & Financial Management
  • Oversee daily operations, including leasing, maintenance, and resident services
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reporting
  • Monitor NOI performance, review variance reports, and guide capital planning and vendor contracts

Leasing & Marketing Oversight
  • Supervise leasing strategy, pricing, and marketing campaigns
  • Ensure CRM systems, ILS listings, signage, and digital content are on-brand and compliant
  • Analyze leasing traffic, conversions, and marketing ROI

Resident Relations & Service Excellence
  • Resolve escalated service issues with professionalism and discretion
  • Monitor resident satisfaction scores (NPS), lead service recovery, and drive retention initiatives
  • Coach teams on delivering exceptional, personalized service

Team Leadership & Development
  • Hire, train, and manage leasing, maintenance, and site leadership staff
  • Conduct performance evaluations and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) through people-first leadership and visibility at resident events

Building Maintenance & Vendor Management
  • Oversee unit turnovers, preventive maintenance, amenity upkeep, and inspections
  • Review vendor performance, manage contracts, and enforce building standards
  • Ensure safety protocols and operational excellence across all areas

Community Engagement & Events
  • Partner on lifestyle programming, resident events, and digital engagement
  • Help shape the identity and culture of each property through thoughtful activation

Compliance & Affordable Housing Oversight
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, labor regulations, and internal policies.
  • Manage affordable housing programs, income eligibility, and required certification.s
  • Maintain audit-ready records and reporting

Strategic Projects & Corporate Collaboration
  • Execute company-wide initiatives, customer journey mapping, and service audits
  • Act as a liaison between on-site teams and executive leadership
  • Champion innovation, wellness, and community culture across the portfolio

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a union benefits package.

Anticipated base salary range: $120,000 - $130,000

Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors.

Qualifications

  • Five years of property management experience related to Class A high rise residential property.
  • Minimum of five years' experience managing a team of people.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to manage a property as demonstrated by work experience including financial performance, customer service, communications, marketing, negotiation, crisis management, and staffing.
  • Ability to analyze data/reports to develop solutions to sustain high standards of customer service, optimal revenue generation and effective expense management as demonstrated by business results in previous position.
  • Experience in budget preparation and financial reporting, with a strong understanding of building operational systems, leasing and marketing, documentation and administration.
  • Proven track record of managing teams, budgets, and high-touch service environments
  • Strong financial, operational, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws, affordable housing programs, and compliance protocols
  • High emotional intelligence and a people-first leadership style
  • Real estate license required (or ability to obtain one)
