The Position

We are seeking an experienced, talented and strong "can-do" progressive General Manager who is passionate about managing internal and external teams, with focus on internal day-to-day operations. You look for ways to streamline processes, overcome obstacles and are an expert at developing and executing on strategic plans. Taking direction from the CEO and board of directors, your tactical skills are second-to-none. You are known as being resilient to stresses and adaptive to those around you, with the ability to pivot and deliver action and results when required.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in operations management of at least 20 people, leading diverse teams in a multi-level management team environment
  • Any undergraduate diploma or degree in Business Administration or related educational background (an asset)
  • Previous experience overseeing and managing P&L, with strong financial statement analysis
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, mostly to maintain accountability with team
  • Able to quickly develop and execute on action items linked to strategic planning initiatives
  • Transformational leadership style to set up for future growth
  • Exceptional and structured communication skills and ability to communicate with a diverse team including subordinates, peers, and members of the leadership group
  • Familiarity with HR best practices related to team development and performance management
  • Commitment to strive for world class customer service
