Canyon City Construction LP is seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead operations across construction and gravel/aggregate business lines. Reporting to the CEO of CNLP, you will provide executive-level leadership with full accountability for operational and financial results. You will lead a diverse and skilled team, champion a safety-first culture, and build strong relationships with clients, partners, and community stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO - AT A GLANCE

• Provide overall leadership for construction project delivery and gravel/aggregate operations
• Lead project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to specification
• Oversee operational planning, budgets, and full P&L accountability
• Drive business development, including bids, proposals, and client relationship management
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs, production targets, and cost controls across divisions
• Provide senior leadership on safety, ensuring full compliance with Yukon OH&S legislation
• Recruit, lead, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a strong safety-first culture
• Collaborate with the CEO on strategic planning, capital deployment, and growth initiatives
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and community stakeholders

WHAT YOU BRING

Experience & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in the construction industry, including senior leadership roles
• Demonstrated experience managing financial performance and P&L accountability
• Strong operational leadership in construction, civil, or resource-based environments
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain teams
• Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and project delivery frameworks
• Familiarity with Yukon legislation and safety programs
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years

Preferred:

• Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Project management certification (PMP, Gold Seal, or equivalent)
• Experience working with Indigenous organizations or development corporations
