Job Summary:

This position has full operational responsibility for a large-scale, multi-shift distribution campus spanning 200,000 to 400,000 square feet. This role supports inventory flow, floor stock replenishment to Furniture Gallery stores, and direct-to-consumer home deliveries. The manager leads all aspects of receiving, stocking, inventory control, linehaul and local delivery operations, as well as repair services. The position partners closely with retail, logistics, and dealer networks to drive operational efficiency, exceptional service levels, and support for growth initiatives across a large regional footprint. Candidate must be located in Neosho or willing to relocate.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties as assigned):
  • Oversee all aspects of campus operations, including inbound receiving, put away, picking, staging, loading, and outbound delivery-across multiple shifts in a high-volume facility.
  • Manage daily linehaul operations, optimizing inbound/outbound transfer schedules, trailer utilization, and cost-effective routing across regional hubs and delivery terminals.
  • Monitor and drive performance in repair shop operations, ensuring scheduling, parts management, cost control, and quality that meets standards for customer satisfaction.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety programs, inventory control practices, and operational policies across all shifts.
  • Ensure prompt execution of floor stock replenishment and home delivery services to retail stores and end customers.
  • Partner with retail and merchandising teams to support store expansions, new product rollouts, and seasonal inventory transitions.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for cost, productivity, delivery CSAT, safety, shrink, cycle count accuracy, refusal rates, and 5S compliance.
  • Support warehouse systems upgrades, WMS enhancements, and procedural transitions to drive efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Coordinate redistribution activities as needed to support manufacturing facilities or optimize inventory placement across the network.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, high-performance team development, and exceptional customer service.


SCOPE & IMPACT:

Manages operations across 200K-400K+ sq ft campus with multi-shift staffing and complex delivery schedules. Impacts regional service performance, delivery satisfaction, store replenishment timeliness, and operational cost containment. Directly supports new store growth, product expansion, and e-commerce initiatives across a large regional market. Oversite of regional leadership with responsibilities including operational performance, key performance metrics, staffing, and labor management. Collaborates directly with local manufacturing plants to ensure efficient product flow, maintain yard operations, and align performance with plant production metrics

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field with 8-10 years of related (multi-shift, large scale facility management) experience, or equivalent
  • 5+ years in a site leadership role managing 50+ employees.
  • Experience with linehaul and local delivery transportation management.
  • Strong knowledge of WMS, TMS, and data analytics platforms.
  • Proven success in vendor/3PL management, cost control, and logistics performance improvement.
  • Strong leadership, team building, and process implementation skills.
  • Ability to travel locally and regionally up to 25%.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and safety compliance standards.


PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
  • Master's degree or MBA in a related discipline.
  • Experience in the home goods or furniture industry.
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 5-7 direct reports (including up to 2 regional z-dock leaders), 40-60 total employees across multiple shifts, oversight of 3rd-party partners for home delivery and linehaul transportation
