Who You'll Work With

Slalom Consulting is looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial, and progressive leader to drive Enterprise Business Applications, including Salesforce, ServiceNow, Adobe, and Anaplan services and client success in Nashville and surrounding areas. The Nashville-based GTM leader will provide thought leadership to our enterprise and mid-market clients, set strategic direction for the Go-to-Market practitioners, and be accountable for ensuring high-quality execution of business and technology consulting across all Enterprise Applications pursuits and engagements.

This individual must live within a commutable distance to Nashville.

What You'll Do

This role connects a regional Capability strategy with local market needs, acting as a subject matter expert and thought leader at external events, while collaborating with industry partners to identify opportunities. The GTM leader is accountable for sales, pursuits, solutioning, and account management across Nashville and surrounding areas. This individual will also contribute to delivery, recruitment, and operational leadership within the Capability and market.

Capability Vision & Strategy
  • Connect and drive regional Capability strategy within the market based on client portfolio, market maturity, and geographic makeup.
  • Work with regional and company leaders to bring the vision of the Enterprise Capability to life, connecting local markets and regions to global strategy.
  • Tailor market GTM strategies to align with local industries, clients, and communities.

Business Development & Sales
  • Partner with industry-aligned client partners and sales executives to identify and pursue Capability-related opportunities.
  • Serve as a Solution Lead or SME during pursuits and engage broader Capability SMEs as needed.
  • Drive targeted and customized sales motions aligned to strategic customer accounts.
  • Participate in multi-Capability solutioning and client outcome-based selling motions.
  • Drive growth across the Tennessee and Mississippi pipeline through business development, solutioning, talent management, delivery oversight, and thought leadership.
  • Lead business development and complex solutioning efforts while cultivating relationships across Slalom and Salesforce.
  • Build relationships with account teams, industry teams, and Salesforce partners to drive account planning and joint pursuits.
  • Develop leading practices, sales accelerators, reusable collateral, and GTM approaches.
  • Maximize team performance through effective collaboration and leadership.
  • Maintain awareness of industry-leading practices, business trends, and Enterprise Business Applications offerings.
  • Seek speaking opportunities and represent Slalom as a Capability SME and thought leader at conferences and industry events.
  • Partner with Marketing and Operations to develop and deliver Slalom-led thought leadership events.
  • Participate in campaigns, RFIs, RFPs, workshops, and proofs of concept to generate new opportunities.
  • Research client portfolio needs and adjust GTM focus areas accordingly.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships across target and active accounts.

Delivery
  • Provide engagement oversight and governance of Salesforce projects to ensure delivery quality.
  • Mentor and upskill delivery team members through practice leadership, best practices, and risk mitigation.

Resource Pipeline
  • Participate in market and Capability workforce planning, staffing, hiring, and resource management activities.

People Development
  • Support development of direct reports and mentor other Capability GTM leaders and practitioners.
  • Act as a mentor to practitioners serving the market portfolio.
  • Provide performance feedback for team members supporting pursuits and delivery engagements.

Financial Management
  • Partner with GTM and Capability leadership to create growth plans and cost projections.
  • Monitor revenue forecasts and help identify and address Capability health concerns within the market.

What You'll Bring
  • 10-12+ years of experience in large or boutique consulting environments with a focus on pipeline generation and delivery excellence.
  • Deep understanding of industries such as healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, supply chain, public sector, and financial services, including trends, growth opportunities, technology enablement, and regulations.
  • Expert business development and client management skills, including executive and C-level relationship management.
  • Demonstrated success implementing Salesforce cloud solutions.
  • Strong technical understanding of Salesforce architecture and platform capabilities.
  • Active Salesforce certifications or the ability to obtain relevant certifications upon hire.
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Expertise in program management and delivery leadership.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong business operations experience, including proposal development, SOW creation, pricing models, margin management, and utilization planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex pursuits simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to self-motivate and execute independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly innovative environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted base salary range for this Director role is $219,000 - $258,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. Salary ranges are subject to change and may be modified at any time.
