Senior Delivery Manager / Engagement Lead (Modernization Program)

Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (Onsite)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Delivery Manager / Engagement Lead to lead a large-scale enterprise modernization initiative for a leading client. This role will drive a critical transformation effort focused on transitioning from legacy mainframe systems to a modern cloud-based architecture leveraging Azure and Salesforce.

As the engagement lead, you will oversee a complex, multi-phase program-guiding the transition, validating requirements, aligning stakeholders, and delivering a clear, execution-ready roadmap to move into implementation.

What You'll Do
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of a complex, multi-million-dollar modernization program
  • Orchestrate knowledge transfer and transition from prior delivery teams
  • Drive validation and refinement of business and technical requirements across functional, integration, data, and governance domains
  • Identify and manage risks, gaps, dependencies, and acceleration opportunities
  • Oversee multiple workstreams and guide workstream leads to alignment and execution
  • Establish strong governance, delivery cadence, and reporting structure
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to provide strategic direction and program transparency
  • Deliver a comprehensive, implementation-ready solution plan to enable the build phase


What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience at the Senior Delivery Manager / Engagement Lead level
  • Track record managing large, multi-million-dollar programs over multiple years
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional teams and multiple workstreams
  • Strong leadership in managing workstream leads and driving accountability
  • Ability to confidently engage and report to executives and C-suite stakeholders
  • Experience in enterprise modernization initiatives, including:
    • Legacy system decommissioning (mainframe modernization)
    • Cloud transformation (Azure)
    • Application/platform replacement and custom development
    • Salesforce customization and integration
  • Deep understanding of program governance, delivery processes, and requirements management
  • Strong risk management mindset, particularly in environments with overlapping workstreams or accelerated timelines

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $120/hr to $150/hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
