Job Description

Principal or Senior Principal, Anthropic AI Solutions

AI Systems & Platforms | Anthropic Business Unit

****Please note:This role isnoteligiblefor100% remotework. Employees must live within a commutable distance of one the listed offices (Los Angeles or San Francisco, CA, Seattle, WA, Denver, CO or Phoenix, AZ) and must be willing to be onsite at the client and/or Slalom office when needed. This role could require travel to support the region between 25-35%.****

As a leader in the Anthropic BU, you are a practitioner-seller. You spend roughly 40% of your time delivering: architecting Claude-based solutions, leading technical engagements, and acting as the SME on model usage, MCP integrations, agentic workflows, and enterprise deployment patterns. The other 60% you spend on the sales side of the pipeline - not as an account executive (local market teams own that role), but as the technical credibility layer that converts discovery into a credible scope, a credible proposal, and ultimately a signed engagement.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and delivery of enterprise AI solutions using Anthropic technologies, including large language model integrations, agentic workflows, and retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, to drive measurable client outcomes.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert across engagements by guiding architecture decisions, model usage, and integration strategies to ensure scalable, secure, and production-ready implementations.
  • Build and operationalize Claude Code and Cowork deployments for enterprise clients, including custom skills, MCP connector development, and workflow automation.
  • Lead or co-lead AI enablement programs: designing training curricula, running workshops, and building adoption frameworks for enterprise rollouts ranging from dozens to thousands of users.
  • Identify and engage Slalom delivery practitioners (AI engineers, change management leads, data architects) to staff and execute engagements.
  • Translate client needs into actionable solutions by running technical discovery sessions, shaping solution approaches, and contributing to proposals that convert pipeline opportunities into delivered work.
  • Partner with account and market teams to co-sell and co-deliver AI solutions, providing technical credibility throughout the sales lifecycle while supporting partner collaboration and opportunity prioritization.
  • Develop and operationalize enterprise AI environments, including governance frameworks, access models, and deployment patterns, to ensure responsible and compliant adoption at scale.
  • Enable internal and client teams by leading workshops, building training programs, and creating reusable assets that accelerate adoption and elevate AI capabilities across the organization.
  • Contribute to market presence through thought leadership, client presentations, and industry events to expand awareness and credibility of Slalom's AI capabilities.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience designing and delivering AI/ML or large language model-based solutions in client-facing environments, with the ability to bridge technical depth and business outcomes.
  • 7-12+ years of professional experience with meaningful time in a client-facing technical or advisory role at a consulting firm, technology partner, or AI product company.
  • Experience managing an individual revenue target of $750,000 to $1.5 Million
  • Direct experience with Claude Enterprise, Claude Code, or Cowork, ideally deployed for clients, not just personal use
  • Familiarity with Anthropic's MCP ecosystem, Claude Skills, and the Claude API
  • Awareness of Anthropic's enterprise pricing model, licensing tiers, and competitive positioning vs. OpenAI, Copilot, and Gemini
  • Hands-on experience designing and building with large language model APIs - Claude, OpenAI GPT, or equivalent in production environments
  • Working knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) or equivalent tool/connector frameworks for extending AI agents with external data and actions
  • Experience with agentic AI architectures: multi-step reasoning chains, tool use, agent orchestration, memory, and feedback loops
  • Strong solutioning and advisory skills, including leading technical discovery, shaping proposals, and supporting revenue targets in a consulting or partner-driven model.
  • Working knowledge of modern AI architectures (e.g., agentic workflows, RAG, API-based integrations) and the ability to evaluate and guide implementation at a solution-architecture level.
  • Effective communicator who can simplify complex concepts, influence stakeholders at all levels, and enable others through training, coaching, and thought leadership.
  • A collaborative, growth-oriented mindset with experience working across partner ecosystems and contributing to capability building within a consulting practice.
