Go To Market Data Leader - Sr. Director - Mountain West (Denver, Salt Lake City)****Please note: This role is not eligible for 100% remote work. Employees must live within a commutable distance of the Denver office and must be willing to be onsite at the client and/or Slalom office when needed. This role could require travel to support the region between 10-20%.****
What You'll DoAs the Data & Intelligence Go-to-Market Lead for Denver, you will be responsible for building a high-performing go-to-market team and function while owning the growth strategy for Slalom's data and intelligence offerings. You'll cultivate an inclusive, entrepreneurial team culture that attracts and retains top talent in data and AI, and position Slalom as a trusted innovation partner across the Mountain West.
In this uniquely positioned leadership role, you'll tailor and scale our national vision into a local force - where innovation, execution, and business relevance converge. At Slalom, you'll lead with purpose - pairing human ingenuity with the power of data to transform how organizations operate, compete, and grow. You'll collaborate with leading technology partners and Slalom client teams to identify high-impact opportunities, drive sales and revenue growth, and elevate our go-to-market presence.
Capability Vision & Strategy - Tailor regional or country-wide capability strategies to the Mountain West markets, considering client portfolios, market maturity, and geographic factors.
- Drive Data and Intelligence sales initiatives by leveraging market insights and aligning strategic priorities with customer needs.
Go-to-Market Approach - Proactively create demand by seeking speaking opportunities at conferences and events to establish yourself and your team as Data and Intelligence capability thought leaders.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to plan Slalom-led thought leadership events focused on Data and Intelligence solutions and client outcomes.
- Ignite awareness and generate demand for Data and Intelligence capabilities by engaging in campaigns, RFIs, RFPs, workshops, and POCs.
Business Development & Sales - Be accountable for Data and Intelligence sales growth and managing the opportunity pipeline through to closure, ensuring alignment with market strategies.
- Partner with client partners and sales executives to identify and pursue Data and Intelligence related opportunities.
- Serve as a Solution Lead or SME in the pursuit process, engaging broader capability team SMEs as needed to align with market strategy.
- Participate in multi-capability solutioning and client outcome-based selling motions with the go-to-market team.
People Development - Support the development of a small team of direct reports with a focus on Data and Intelligence go-to-market activities.
- Mentor other practitioners within the capability area to serve the market's portfolio effectively.
- Provide feedback for performance management related to capability team members involved in market pursuits and delivery.
Delivery Management - Contribute to delivery in billable roles as a Delivery Solution Lead and/or in SME roles within the market's portfolio, with defined utilization targets.
What You'll Bring- Prior Consulting Experience: Managed / IT Consulting experience is required
- Inspirational Leadership: Demonstrate strategic and critical thinking that aligns with market needs to drive Data and Intelligence sales.
- Proactive GTMMentality: Build relationships and actively seek opportunities to expand the sales pipeline, partnering with sales/client partners to generate leads.
- Growth Mindset: Act as an external speaker at events, engaging with customer CXOs as a credible and confident peer.
- Collaboration: Exhibit strong collaborative skills across different teams and organizations to drive Data and Intelligence sales and customer-focused strategies.
- Technical Excellence: Be an excellent technical leader with experience solutioning and delivering with our partners: Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Dbt, Fivetran, Matillion and Dataiku.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range is $220,000 to $280,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
