OverviewWe are seeking a Microsoft 365 Technical Lead to provide strategic and technical leadership across SharePoint Online, Microsoft Search, and Microsoft Copilot initiatives. This role will serve as the subject matter expert responsible for defining architecture, governance, security, and enterprise adoption strategies within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
The ideal candidate combines deep Microsoft 365 technical expertise with strong executive communication skills and can lead complex initiatives across multiple teams in fast-paced enterprise environments.
What You'll Do- Lead architecture and solution design for Microsoft 365 collaboration, content management, and search capabilities.
- Define and implement SharePoint Online architecture, governance, permissions strategy, and best practices.
- Drive Microsoft Search configuration, optimization, and relevance tuning to improve enterprise content discovery.
- Establish Copilot readiness strategies, including content governance, security, compliance, and adoption planning.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to develop Microsoft 365 roadmaps and platform standards.
- Provide technical leadership across delivery teams responsible for SharePoint, search, and related Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise security, compliance, and operational requirements.
- Influence senior stakeholders and provide guidance on strategic technology decisions.
What You'll Bring- 8+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Deep expertise in SharePoint Online architecture, governance, and administration.
- Experience delivering enterprise intranet, document management, and search solutions.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Search, content discovery, and search relevance optimization.
- Expertise with Microsoft Graph, Microsoft Entra ID, permissions management, and security architecture.
- Experience establishing governance, compliance, and content management frameworks within Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot capabilities and the governance, security, and content requirements supporting enterprise adoption.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and influence executive stakeholders in complex environments.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release management practices.
- Microsoft certifications in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure, or Security.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is 100-125/hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
