Job Description

Job Title: Salesforce - Financial Services Cloud Consultant

Responsibilities:
  • Expertise and experience with FSC including configuration of the FSC Platform
  • Expert level understanding of various components of the Salesforce product suite, such as Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and App Clouds
  • Translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce.com platform
  • Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end states
  • Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce.com implementation
  • Manage technical scopes and client expectations
  • Demonstrate technical thought leadership
  • Conduct code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being used
  • Provides oversight and governance of all sold and managed Salesforce.com projects
  • Drives business development with the proper information, tools, and subject matter expertise to sell engagements and provide detailed estimates within the offering
  • Coach and mentor junior technical resources; own responsibility for ongoing technical development of technical resources on Salesforce projects
  • Interview potential candidates
  • Serve as a mentor/lead and people manger within the team
  • Ability to travel 20%
  • Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong ability to translate AI capabilities into business value, drive adoption, and ensure alignment with strategy, operations, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Consulting or Industry (Banking, Fins) experience
  • Experience and expertise with FSC, including configuration of the FSC Platform
  • Minimum 3 years of Salesforce platform experience
  • Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems
  • Expert understanding of multiple facets of the Salesforce.com product suite, such as Salesforce 1, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Platform and the App Exchange
  • Configuration experience using the Salesforce.com point-and-click developer interface
  • Awareness of programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform including Apex and VisualForce
  • Understanding of the Salesforce.com data loader for data migration activities in Salesforce.com
  • Strong background in design and development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software product lifecycle
  • Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum
  • Deep functional and technical understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and other Cloud Computing Services is a must
  • Knowledge of integration architecture as well as third-party integration tools and ETL (Such as Mulesoft, Informatica, Jitterbit etc. ) with Salesforce.com
  • Excellent client-facing written and oral communications skills
  • Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire

AI-Enabled Business Delivery
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Enterprise ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to accelerate development of business deliverables such as requirements, process models, user stories, and test scenarios
  • Demonstrate experience supporting or delivering AI-enabled features within Business Planning and enterprise solutions
  • Apply AI to enhance analysis, decision-making, and stakeholder insights

AI Strategy & Business Translation
  • Guide clients in translating AI strategy into practical, scalable, and compliant business solutions
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to embed AI into business processes to drive efficiency, quality, and patient-centric innovation
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful AI adoption

Governance, Risk, and Compliance
  • Ensure AI initiatives align with regulatory requirements in life sciences (e.g., GxP, SaMD, validated systems)
  • Promote responsible AI practices, including ethical use, transparency, and data governance

Adoption, Value Realization & Team Enablement
  • Drive adoption of AI tools and practices across business and delivery teams
  • Support sales and delivery efforts through AI-informed solutioning, proposals, and value articulation
  • Enable team utilization by aligning skills, demand, and delivery opportunities

Thought Leadership & Market Presence
  • Expand personal and organizational brand through thought leadership, AI-enabled transformation, and patient-centric innovation
  • Contribute to industry discussions through articles, publications, and participation in events

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges:

The targeted base salary pay range for a Senior Consultant is:

  • East Bay, San Francisco, Silicon Valley:
  • Consultant: $126000-$154,000
  • San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle, Boston, Houston, New Jersey, New York City, Washington DC, Westchester:
  • Consultant: $115,000-$141,000
  • All other locations:
  • Consultant: $106,000-$129,000


In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
