NOTICE OF JOB OPPORTUNITY Gastroenterologists Job Duties: Diagnose and treat patients for gastroenterology illnesses and disorders. Develop a plan of care for each patient, including complete medical history, physician examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment and/or referral. Confer with consulting physicians, nurses, patients and patients family concerning treatment and care of patients. Refer those cases that require specialist services but maintain responsibility, assuring that continuity of care is provided. Frequent travel to worksites in New Orleans area. Employer: Ochsner Clinic Foundation Geographic area of employment: Chalmette, LA. Frequent travel to worksites in New Orleans area Salary: $380,000 per year Education Required: M.D or D.O Other Requirements:  License to practice medicine in Louisiana  Completion of an internal medicine residency.
