About the Role

Hello, High School STEM Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a High School STEM Teacher to support students in Fort Morgan, CO. In this role, you'll create an engaging learning environment that inspires curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving through STEM education. You'll collaborate with educators and district teams to support student success while creating an environment where students can thrive.

This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about inspiring students through STEM learning and creating opportunities for them to explore concepts, solve problems, and gain confidence in their skills.

What You'll Do
  • Deliver engaging STEM instruction aligned with district curriculum and Colorado standards
  • Develop lesson plans and differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
  • Create a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment that supports learning
  • Assess student progress and maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Participate in curriculum planning, professional development, and school initiatives
What We're Looking For
  • Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with an appropriate secondary endorsement in STEM, Mathematics, Science, or a related content area
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Enthusiasm for helping students explore STEM concepts
  • School-based teaching experience preferred, but not required
