Anticipated Schedule:

• Monday: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: Off
• Thursday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, every other week
• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, every other week

Schedule is currently being finalized and may be adjusted based on practice needs and provider availability.

Practice Overview:

Join a modern, established dental practice in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, and take on an important leadership role within a thriving patient-centered office.

Established in 2015, this 7-operatory practice has developed a loyal patient base and is seeking an experienced General Dentist to become the lead doctor and clinical face of the practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist who is ready to take greater ownership of the patient experience while continuing to practice comprehensive dentistry.

The office is equipped with modern technology, including:

• CBCT and panoramic imaging.
• Intraoral cameras.
• 7 fully equipped operatories.

The incoming dentist will work alongside another General Dentist and have access to an in-office Periodontist every other week, allowing for collaboration and continuity of specialty care.

The practice also has a strong hygiene department with three Registered Dental Hygienists and capacity to add an additional hygienist as patient demand continues to grow.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced General Dentist to serve as the lead doctor within our Basking Ridge practice.

This is not an entry-level associate position. The incoming dentist will play an important role in the clinical direction of the office, comprehensive treatment planning, patient relationships, and overall culture of the practice.

We're looking for a confident clinician who enjoys comprehensive dentistry, communicates exceptionally well with patients and team members, and is comfortable becoming the primary clinical presence within an established practice.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years of post-residency clinical experience.

Full-time availability is strongly preferred, although we are willing to consider an experienced dentist interested in a consistent part-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead General Dentist and primary clinical presence within the practice.
• Provide comprehensive general dentistry, including preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and emergency care.
• Perform comprehensive examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Confidently diagnose, treatment plan, and communicate complex treatment recommendations.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with patients and serve as a trusted clinical resource.
• Collaborate with the in-office Periodontist and other providers to coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Partner closely with the hygiene department to identify treatment needs and ensure continuity of care.
• Utilize CBCT, panoramic imaging, and intraoral cameras to support diagnosis and patient education.
• Provide clinical leadership while contributing positively to the culture and success of the practice.
• Maintain the highest standards of clinical quality, ethics, and patient safety.

Qualifications:

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active New Jersey dental license in good standing or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of post-residency clinical experience required.
• Strong comprehensive treatment-planning and diagnostic skills.
• Demonstrated ability to practice independently and confidently manage an established patient base.
• Excellent patient communication and case-presentation skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to delivering consistently high-quality, patient-centered dentistry.
