Full Job Description
We are currently looking for a Full Time General Dentist to join our Area of Dental Services team located at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center working 7:30AM-6:00PM - Tu We Th Fr.

Summary:
Performs dental services within the scope consistent with established professional standards and health system policies.

Responsibilities:
* Provides comprehensive dental examination, diagnoses, consultation, and treatment in accordance with the clinical privileges as requested, granted and approved through the medical staff process
* Ensures that proper patient documentation is timely, accurate and complete
* Initiates appropriate specialty referrals
* Orders, performs and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests
* Participates in the development of protocols, standard procedures and management of patient-care-related activities
* Advises leadership of any problems that can affect the efficiency of the organization
* Ensures continuity of care for specific dental specialty and provides timely requests for schedule changes, vacation, sick leave and continuing medical education leave to leadership
* Serves on and/or facilitates department meetings, conferences, committees, and/or workgroups as assigned
* Participates in performance improvement activities to measure, assess and improve the quality of assigned work area
* Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types

- Maintains and promotes professionalism
- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
