Position Summary

We are seeking a General Counsel to join us. This role provides strategic legal guidance, ensures regulatory compliance, mitigates risk, and oversees all legal, compliance, and quality assurance functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise the CEO, executive leadership, and Board of Directors on legal, governance, and strategic matters.
  • Provide legal counsel on contracts, employment, regulatory compliance, litigation, and organizational risk.
  • Lead the organization's compliance and quality assurance programs, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate legal and operational risks while supporting ethical business practices.
  • Oversee outside legal counsel and manage legal matters efficiently.
  • Develop and review organizational policies, contracts, and governance documents.
  • Support organizational initiatives by balancing legal risk with operational objectives.


Qualifications

Education & Licensing
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in good standing


Experience
  • 10+ years of progressive legal experience, with a combination of law firm and/or in-house experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in regulatory, compliance, and risk management environments
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
