Build a rewarding sales career helping customers create homes they love.Furniture Fair is looking for motivated, personable Sales & Design Consultants who enjoy working with people, have an eye for style and are driven to succeed.What You'll Do- Welcome customers and learn about their style, space, budget and furniture needs
- Recommend furniture and accessories that fit each customer's home
- Create and present design solutions based on customer preferences and living spaces
- Conduct in-home consultations when needed, including measuring and assessing the space
- Develop strong product knowledge and stay current on promotions and new merchandise
- Follow up with customers regarding purchases, product arrivals, promotions and future needs
- Build repeat and referral business through outstanding customer service
- Work toward individual and store sales goals
What We're Looking For- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- A positive, professional attitude
- Motivation to achieve sales goals
- Ability to build relationships and follow up with customers
- Interest in furniture, home décor or interior design
- Previous sales, retail, customer-service or design experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work a retail schedule including weekends and some holidays
