Discover the Role

Our Fund Accounting team is growing, and we are looking for a Manager to lead and oversee fund accounting and administration services for our clients. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills and deep expertise in fund administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a team that provides full range of fund accounting and administration services to fund service clients, providing coaching, training and allocating resources for team members.
  • Oversee daily operations including NAV calculation, investor allocations, fee computations and financial reporting.
  • Ensure quality and punctuality of deliverables while adhering to internal controls, AML/KYC requirements, and industry regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, other service providers, and TMF senior management teams, facilitating communication and team coordination.
  • Lead client onboarding and maintain client relationships which could involve minimal travel.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and client experience.
  • Participate in multiple system initiatives and projects.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the local office and broader fund services team.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience working in the fund administration industry with experience managing staff. This can include other administrators, investment managers or fund auditors.
  • In-depth understanding of fund administration industry. This includes multiple fund structures, fee calculations, financial instruments and fund offering documentation review.
  • Experience with fund accounting systems (e.g. Geneva, Investran, eFront, or similar platforms).
  • Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Completion or interest in a professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA, ACCA, ICAEW, CFA (or equivalent)) is considered an asset.
