setting and meeting aggressive targets in safety, quality, production, uptime, efficiency and spending.

Functional Area Lead -Ripline to join ourAthabasca OSB Division,located in
Slave Lake, Alberta. Thisstate-of-the-art facilityhas the
longest continuous press in North America, giving us the ability to produce a diverse range of innovative products for customers around the world.

installations from planning through start-up, training operators, and

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- The successful candidate will have previous supervisory experience in an industrial, manufacturing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills and a minimum of Grade 12 education (or equivalent) are required for this position.
- A good working knowledge of OSB manufacturing, experience with continuous process, operating large industrial machinery, and working with computer spreadsheets will be considered definite assets.
- Strong profit orientation and excellent communication skills are essential.
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with computer programs - Microsoft office (excel, word, outlook, PowerPoint)
- Proficient with maintenance management systems, such as JD Edwards considered an asset
In this role you will:
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and execute projects effectively from planning through completion.
- Plan, coordinate, and lead the installation of new equipment, including preparation, installation, commissioning, and start-up.
- Support and help lead the SWAT team during project planning, equipment installation, and start-up activities.
- Train operators on new and existing equipment to ensure safe, effective, and efficient operation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new equipment.
- Champion safety throughout all phases of installation, commissioning, and transition to operation.
- Establish, reinforce, and sustain safe operating practices following implementation
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
