Pony Bird, Inc. is looking for a Full Time Director of Community Support Services. The Director of Community Support Services is responsible for the overall orgnization and administration of Community Support Services and Day Services.
SALARY RANGE: $35.55 - $44.43 based on experience and education

- Develop and maintain a Standard Operating Procedures Manual for specific responsibilities and duties of that position.
- Attend all staff meetings, management meetings and board meetings as required.
- Ensure the maintenance of an effective record-keeping system, including HIPAA security and confidentiality of program, employee, and records of Individuals served.
- Support the organizations mission, vision, and core values by ensuring the Individuals receive the support with dignity and respect for quality of life.
- Must have a valid driver's license and access to a car for travel throughout the county.
JOB QUALIFCATIONS:- Master's Degree Preferred / Bachelor's Degree required in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Nursing, or comparable degree from an accredited four year college/university.
Seven years' experience working with community-based supports for persons with developmental disabilities or related field must include two years' experience at a supervisory level. - Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Must possess and demonstrate a working knowledge of current computer applications.
- Must be able to communicate in an effective and clear manner, in both written and oral form.
- Must be able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical journals and procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Must be able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from staff, clients, client guardians, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Must be able to effectively present job-related information and respond to questions from other managers, staff, clients, client guardians, public groups and / or board of directors.
- Must be able to apply mathematical concepts to prepare budgets and prepare data reports for the program.
