Job SummaryWe are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong focus on middle-tier and backend development to support and enhance API-driven systems powering large-scale Contact Center platforms. This hands-on engineering role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining backend and middleware services that integrate with contact center and collaboration technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building scalable APIs, implementing DevOps practices, and supporting enterprise-grade service-oriented architectures.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain backend and middle-tier services supporting Contact Center platforms.
- Build RESTful and event-driven APIs from the ground up for enterprise applications and integrations.
- Contribute to the development of new platform capabilities as well as enhancements to existing backend services.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and follow DevOps-oriented engineering practices.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, platform engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of API and middleware components.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and engineering best practices initiatives.
- Support integration efforts between contact center platforms and internal enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues across distributed systems.
Required Qualifications- Strong backend development experience using TypeScript, Python, and JavaScript.
- Proven experience designing and developing APIs from scratch.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps-focused engineering practices.
- Experience working with Contact Center platforms within production environments.
- Experience building and supporting middle-tier services that integrate multiple enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of scalable, service-oriented architecture principles.
- Experience developing and maintaining API-driven applications and distributed systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting enterprise-scale customer experience or collaboration platforms.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and middleware integration patterns.
- Exposure to cloud-native development and deployment practices.
