Full Job Description

The Partner Test Tech team is responsible for ensuring a high-quality Netflix experience on smart TVs and set-top devices by building and maintaining device automation and infrastructure. We accelerate the software developer lifecycle by building tools and services that improve feedback loops and enable confident code delivery.

Who you are?
  • You have 7+ years of experience in a software development role focused on creating and maintaining full-stack applications.

  • You are proficient in modern UI frameworks (React preferred), JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and building scalable backend systems (Java, Spring Boot or equivalent frameworks).

  • AI-native and use it to drive improvements and efficiency

  • A quality-minded Software Engineer with experience driving testing strategies and automation frameworks

  • A versatile specialist who empathizes with fellow developers and helps shape the "why" behind what we build

  • A growth-minded engineer eager to learn and leverage both in-house and open-source frameworks and services


What you will do?
  • Identify areas of improvement in our tooling and operational workflows

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate end-to-end solutions to drive efficiency

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack, including back-end services, to ensure high availability and reliability.

  • Technical expertise to critically evaluate front-end architectures and user experience flows.

  • Experience in maintaining and improving legacy systems, with the ability to evaluate tradeoffs between refactoring, rebuilding, and buying solutions.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $388,000.00 - $558,000.00.
