Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the Full Stack Software Developer will contribute to the design, development, testing, and validation of software solutions supporting X-Rite Pantone products and platforms.

This is an early-career opportunity to build foundational expertise while working alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. The Full Stack Software Developer will partner with software engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned to customer and business needs.

This position is part of the Software Engineering team, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and will be hybrid.

In this role, a typical day will look like:
  • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of full-stack software applications using C# and .NET technologies
  • Develop, test, and validate software components to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and apply established development standards and best practices
  • Support troubleshooting, debugging, and resolution of software defects
  • Contribute to software testing and validation activities
  • Utilize version control and CI/CD tools to support efficient development workflows


The essential requirements of the job include:

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Academic, internship, or co-op experience in software development or engineering
  • Foundational proficiency in C# and .NET development concepts
  • Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)


Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to full stack web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or similar technologies)
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools and workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions)
  • Experience with software testing and validation methods, and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Exposure to multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
